What you need to understand Tom is that we don't normally get snow like this until around end of Feb / beginning of March. The last two winters here have been the mildest on record, so this storm is pretty big news here.

Us hardier folk to the north are quite used to snow in November and December - not for the last couple of years, though, as you say.

You can come and stay all winter - in return for walking the dog every evening. You would think he'd would want to stay in when it was -30c but he's too stupid for that. Got to have his walkies.

Never mind the weather, that is a beautiful dog.
