The way Adingra and Minteh played yesterday we could have just played without this bit of the pitch

Oof. That's unfortunate. Doesn't look like a quick fix. Hope they can find an alternative venue for not just this game, but all their upcoming home games.

They might end up playing in the park, jumpers for goal posts. Marvelous.

Checked their schedule, they had three home games in the space of a week starting tomorrow. Probably a safe bet none of those will be happening?

Hmm, a massive hole, black maybe? I blame Rachel Reeves, she’s dug the pitch up trying to find the missing £22 billion.😁👍

Does anyone remember the hole that appeared mid match at Withdean? Can’t remember which game it was? Stewards had to run on with buckets of sand to fill it.

Shame, it's really a lovely little stadium, just nice to see a new one being built in a residential area rather than an out of town industrial estate as seems to be the trend

Rescheduled Carabao Cup tie follows crowdfunder that raised more than £120,000 after flood damage to home pitch

The money raised in the past week – including £15,000 from their opponents on Tuesday, Newcastle – will go towards covering costs.
Sure, it's a drop in the ocean for Newcastle, but a nice gesture nonetheless.

The club are still awaiting the flood damage to be fully assessed in order to find out the impact and whether rectifying it will be a quick fix or not.
