Massimo Luongo...Aussie,21 years old . started with Spurs,loaned out to Ipswich,then Swindon,who eventually signed him . Scored 8 goals in his career from 30 odd appearances.

He has a lot of flair, I saw him play for Swindon in the league 1 play offs last year, he looked okay.

Never seen him in the A-League and never heard of him, that said lots of Aussie kids go overseas before they are old enough to play at A-League level......

I was on the fence but after hearing this, I'm out.

If they come through the A-League system you can get a bit of a feel for their talent. This kid went the old route and signing with an O/S unproven.

This used to be how our best young players made it to foreign soils but now a days I think the better youth prospects from these shores will have had some affiliation with the A-League first.
