Is he a player whose reputation is bigger than his ability? Whenever I saw him play last season he looked poor. I don't remember too many performances before then so maybe last year was a blip?

Funny thing, this is an area of the pitch which l thought was where we are at our strongest, yet with the departure of White and losing Lamptey to a long term injury we suddenly look light.

However, a large chunk of that White money should still be earmarked for a striker.

We've just sold a 23 year old centre back, and our 29 year old centre back has got knee ligament damage. We're just a suspension and slight knock away from having a Veltman-Duffy CB pairing with Gross and March as full backs.

So yeah, it certainly feels like something we should prioritise.
