wifey here. After a long walk in the country side, going to the pub to watch the footy, lots of beer I offer to cook Sttat Brother toad in the hole and roasties with gravy. Apparently this is wrong diddly wrong wrong, it needs to be mash? (bearing in mind we have been in the pub all afternoon I think anything home cooked is a bonus)

So everyone roast

or mash?:drink:

You should eat what you actually (as long as its healthy) like rather than listen to rules about what goes with what.

Personally I always eat roast TOMATOES with sausages and nothing else will do.

(not a potato in site)

Have now reclaimed the computer and will send Mrs Stat Bro off to bed, with her tail between her legs.

It's bottled like that.

Treat yourself to A Chilean or Argentine red,you know it makes sense.(Well, until halfway through the second bottle, when precious little will make sense anymore!)

We'll i've just opened another (Lagunilla 2001 Reserva) and luckily they'd not decided to bottle it off. :lolol:

Your taste buds died after bottle number one.

Tell you what, west country scrumpy could be just right for you!

Isn't that the stuff that makes farmyard animals look attractive ?

What are you hinting at?

ALL farmyard animals look attractive ,especially if cooked nicely and served with a bottle of room temperature Mouton Cadet.

Then Somerset Brie,with a nice Muscadet,lightly chilled.

And a brandy and benedictine,le cafe noir, and two generous glasses of Glen Ord single malt.

Hic! Burp!!
