MA's half time team talks...

According the the Albion Roar show at the weekend, he didn't give the team talk at half time against Leicester!

As was discussed on the show, Dean White gave the team talk while Adams and Booker sat in the Managers Office.

I'm only going by what I heard on the show, and obviously there is no way to prove 100% that this is the case. But if it is the case, does this happen often? And, also am I the only one who finds this a bit of a piss take!? ???

Fair enough we turned it around in the second half, and we put in a great shift on Saturday. But I thought part of a managers job is to manage the team? A vital part of that must be talking to the lads in the changing rooms at the break, surely?

Discuss.

It all comes down to whether you believe Mendoza's source. I am told (by someone I met at the game yesterday) that Mendoza was told this by a mate of his who knows someone who works behind the scenes.

So it's bound to be true.

Sounds like a complete load of bollocks. All this "I have an inside source" does my head in.

It's also true that the game changing substitutions, Thornton for Savage against Leicester and Murray for Virgo against Millwall were forced upon MA. The, phew, he is the messiah crowd might like to keep that in mind.

Sorry that sounds negative, I am very pleased by the results.

I was only going by what I was told. Its up to my source if he wants to reveal himself as he does occasionally post on here.

What I was told was that Everyone went into the changing rooms straight after half time, and a couple of minutes later, Adams and Booker left the changing room and went to the managers office.

With about a minute of half time left, they waited in the tunnel/lobby area until the players walked out, and patted them all on the back, and hung around for about a minute until all the players left, before deciding to go out to the dugout.

Meanwhile White (and clipboard) was the only one of the coaching staff in the changing room with the players

Sounds more like someone with an anti-Adams agenda who is keen to detract from any of the positives, and make sure MA doesn't get any kind of credit for the recent upturn in results and performances.

Maybe this was just a psychological ploy by Micky, imagine if you were a player and Dean White came in and said that Micky was so pissed off with you all he cant even look at you!

I had a few spare moments to listen earlier on. It's actually quite good! I didn't listen to all of it, but I listened to some good stuff including the bit about that half-time team talks.

not as good as listening to nick osborne though?

That did cross my mind. Especially after being 2-0 down at half time. Whatever happened that night, it seemed to work. I was just a bit shocked that a manager might not give team talks!

Is anything?!

Man, I could undress and fondle myself slowly while listening to that Sussex-based media maestro. I dream of the day where I might set eyes on my radio idol.....

:lolol:

Well I'm always at the games Thomas, come and introduce yourself one day

I'm having that as my signature when I get time as well. You always seem to provide perfect, poetic quotes for me!

Maybe if I was lucky enough to set eyes on you I would, but alas, so far it has been a fruitless search! Believe me, I'm trying. Not a game goes by without a thorough SCOUR of the running track for you:clap2:

Get there early and wait by the burger van. How do you pick him out of all the others?

He will be by HIMSELF and will order TWO DOUBLE BURGERS.

Job done! :D
