No, it's really Locomotive Moscow, sub zero temperatures and the seats froze in the upright position. ;-)

Bet you are gald you are not good enough to get into Europe anymore eh? ;)

Indeedy, travelling to grounds where the toilet is really just a hole dug into the ground that you have to squat over, in freezing temperatures, wasn't all the fun it was cracked up to be ;-)

Perhaps, although I imagine watching other people as they tried to would be quite funny.

Especially as copious amounts of vodka had been consumed for the 12 hours or so previous!

Ah not forgetting those wonderful local police forces, out to show you their newest techniques in bending a truncheon over the top of the head. The complete lack of organisation trying to get into the grounds. Ah it is so bad.

a bit like Orients old away end then....

Peterhead, 27th December. Only two stands, which are perpendicular to the coast (only a couple of hundred yards away), and on top of a hill. Brrr.

That's the coldest I been to in the UK, but it still doesn't compare with Karakol's ground. God only knows how the players (they were playing the country's top side, Bishkek) were able to do anything at all on the pitch without turning into blocks of ice, but they have served up a classic game - 3-2 to the visitors with a couple of top-drawer goals.
