Desperate times call for desperate measures.

I think I'm in a minority, but I see more positives than negatives in Martot. He seems to me to have a good footballing brain and a keen positional sense - admitedly sometimes at odds with the less sophisticated thinking of other players in the squad.

I'm with LB on this one. He's not a world-class winger, but beggars cannot be choosers, and I suspect there's a lot worse out there. If nothing else, he's useful to have on the bench.

He's solid enough. Definitely worth having around as cover.

Just shows how high (or low depending on which way you look at it) we now set our sights. There must be better options than him, probably playing in the County League.

Lets face it, Martot is better than nothing. He isn't the best we have got but he is decent enough cover and i'm sure we will get a few more injuries over the next few months so I reckon most of us will be glad we can play him instead of *insert name of youth midfielder*.

I like him, he's not the most eye catching of players but he'll score the odd goal and has already had quite a few assists with us.

Oui, il travaille dur.
