To be fair to the Everton board, the club finished 11th in 2014/15 and will need to beat Norwich in their final game to equal their points tally of last season.

Having finished 5th in 2013/14 they splashed the cash on Lukaku so I would say they've been more than patient with Martinez.

David Moyes proved that Everton could sustain finishing 4th - 8th and they have a 1st XI that, on paper, is better than West Ham and even Liverpool. He has to go. Spain beckons.
