And Young was a well known player having scored about 20 goals for Watford in the Championship and then done well in the Premiership.

Think he's an overrated manager personally. Not bad but not as great as he's made out to be.

Ashley Young was in no way a proven top level performer. O'Neill took the plunge, before anyone else did.

When he signed Milner, I though 'meh', but he's now looking one of the best players in the Prem.

Took Dunne when he was considered past his best at City. Similarly took Friedel when Blackburn wrongly thought his best days were behind him.

Has turned James Collins into a much better player than I ever thought he'd be.

Excellent judge of a player, in my humble opinion.
