Last summer the club was in meltdown with only 3 strikers after the window shut.

No chance we'll go back to that by moving Hemed on.

Totally agree with that. Strikers will keep us up and Hemed proved last season he can score in the PL. We need the cover.

With Bernardo, Montoya, Bruno and Bong, we have more than enough FB's.

Surely if we have to get rid of a non-HGP from the squad this means a loan to Europe of either Suttner or Schelotto? Hemed's staying. Under the "two for every position" theory he's facing off to Murray. With Andone injured for much of pre-season and question marks over Locadia it makes sense to keep him.

Looks like a class signing. Can see him being a guaranteed starter by October. ****ing love Bruno but he can't go on forever and Schelotto scares the shit out of me defensively.

Thanks for that.

So it's around the same as If you include Afobe who they sold instantly for a profit, and the loan fee for Jimenez.
It's less than us and much less than 100 million in reality.
AND two of those, Jota and Boly, were playing for them last season.

(That list doesn't include the fees for three of our youngsters either)

They've signed less players than us too. So maybe we can put this whole 'irresponsible Wolves spending nonsense' to bed.

In fact, if we'd signed Jannsen or whatever he is called on deadline day last season then we'd have spent us much as them last year.

Fair dos. Bloody lying radio 5 vox pop presnter numptie misleading cockwomble twatty f'uckbumbels.

There's a definite focus on bringing in players with pace, Bernardo, Montoya, Ali, Bissouma and Andone all have lots of it. It does make you wonder whether we will see more fast counter breaks to catch teams out, especially away from home.

Exciting stuff!

Still have to hope and pray a little about the 4th CB gap but things are looking healthy!

Oh ffs! The recruitment team and CH haven't decided to go without a 4th.CB. We've got one - he's called Ben White. Perhaps they don't know enough to recognise the #tooyoungtooinexperienced expert view - but good for them I say. That tired old mantra gets trolled out far too often.
I truly hope Dunk and Duffy have an injury/suspension free season, and maintain their form from last season - but part of me really hopes that a crisis arises and we have to try desperate measures (like playing a teenage Gary Stevens alongside an old warhorse recruited from Blackpool reserves as our CB pairing in our previous spell in the top flight) and all the old 'too young' buffers have to eat their words!

It doesn't have to be a loan. We can still sell to European clubs.

In theory this could even be done tonight.
