If you’ve ever wanted Mitrovic or Pukki then this guy is basically an upgrade but argue away I for one would take it if wages/overall deal is average.

Pukki scores 10 goals a season in the EPL in a rubbish side. What has this guy ever done ?

Also mitrovic scores for fun and is much better than braithwaite.

You’re right he’s at Barca not Real, silly but obvious mix up when half awake. He’s famous as a player ridiculed for not being Barca standard but that doesn’t mean not a decent player before, during and after his time there. He’s not prolific but scores as many as Trossard, Welbeck and Maupay everywhere he’s been which are some decent sides in decent leagues. Like those players is a ‘tweener who’s not a full on forward or winger. Sounds very Potter like target really and realistic. Compared to the two championship strikers mentioned he’s extremely mobile so perhaps a poor comparison but has some elements like them.

We were linked to him I believe last summer and at Christmas so just thought interesting to see this article which actually names exact other clubs etc. Seemed plausible and legit to me.

An upgrade on Mitrovic and Pukki you say? I don't think so! Those players have been scoring goals for fun for a few seasons in English football, and Brathwaite has never played in the Premier League.

This is wrong on so many levels, the guy is 31 so past his peak, he wouldn't fit into Potter's playing style, and he has already allegedly turned us down before. He seems quite content to warm the Barca bench and continue to pick up his fat inflated salary.

Lazy reporting in my opinion, and complete nonsence.

He wasn't a free signing, they triggered his 18 Euro release clause. They were given permission because they had an injury crises which was controversial at the time.
