Barnet give him a job when he's been unemployable, (for various reasons) for a year or more, and he walks out after a WEEK when something better comes up.
You can't fault Mad Dog for his ambition, but it's a bit lame on his part jumping ship at Barnet when he's only been there for five minutes and was only part-way through his job, having handed him a way back into professional football management. There's still a lot of work to do there.
Would it be just if Barnet stayed up and Notts County didn't? Could make that final day just a little more interesting for us too.
Is it Durlston who's the Barnet fan who posts on here? It'll be interesting to see what he thinks.
I'm sorry Martin Allen, you are a KNOBBER for what you have just done to Barnet after they gave you a job when no-one else would touch you with a shitty stick.
Their website says he was only on a contract until the end of the season with Barnet, and I assume County have offered him more, but it still seems out of line to me. And leaves Barnet right in the crap, bearing in mind there's only six games left.
What goes around, comes around, let's hope he ends up playing Barnet next season (if he isn't fired as County manager before then).
