Hi fellow seagulls :) I'm new to the site; finally attended my first match in the North Stand against Bournemouth so I now feel qualified to post here! 😂
Looking forward to Thursday! I won't be attending the match, but had to organise a trip to Marseille for a few days to experience our first ever European away game! Are there any members here who'll be getting the Wednesday 6:15pm Ryanair flight from East Mids airport?
I hope you all had a great weekend (despite the result on Saturday!) :)

Info for Seagull fans:

"The familiar gray-and-white 'laughing' gulls have been seen over 50 miles inland at landfills, though there is discussion as to whether they migrate or have established a colony near the landfill. Incidentally, seagulls are never found in bay waters because then they would be baygulls."

....... and if they're bagels they would be brekkie.

I used the WH "epic boost" on the bet builder for Albion win, btts, winning margin 1-3 goals at 6/1. That's great odds imo.
I have some tablets with the same name, I had to start taking them after I turned 50.

The great day is nearly here. After the journey we’ve had it’s almost a dream. I keep fearing it’s like the Bobby Ewing shower scene in Dallas in the 80s and I’ll wake up to find it never happened. The closest “pinch me” Brighton moment I’ve previously experienced was the 1983 FA Cup Final against Man Utd. Right during the middle of my final University exams. Took the day off revision to watch the match. Four of us supporting Brighton out of 200 in the TV room. We celebrated the 2-2 draw until very late, even though we should have won it at the end. We all knew our luck would run out in the replay on Thursday night. Couldn’t really watch that match properly as my biggest exam the next morning at 9am. Nice to be at this “first” for our club. UTA

Woke up to my flight home from Nice being cancelled this morning and offered a flight 12 hours later on the next day.

Managed to rebook something else but that definitely wasn't what was needed this morning.

BA. Original flight was 22:55 on Friday and they rebooked me for 10:10 on Saturday.

Rebooked with a different airline but cost around €15 more.

Believe I should be able to claim some compensation as it's less than a week before the flight and they rebooked for 11 hours away.

Ahh interesting I'm getting the BA from nice to Heathrow at 8.15pm luckily that's still running. I'm guessing that flight is expensive now.

Jonathan Clauss worth looking out for. An attacking RWB who made the league's team of the season last year. Bit of a late bloomer but taking his chance at 30.

Azzedine Ounahi was a bit of a breakout star in last year's World Cup for Morocco.

You'd expect Gattuso to play his favoured 4-3-3. Sometimes it becomes a 3-4-3 in possession. He likes his teams to keep possession. Aside from that it is far too early in his reign to pin down exactly how Marseille will play. Should be some space in behind the attacking midfielders if we can play through and their centre backs seem weak compared to the rest of the side. Should be a good game with lots of goals.
