On the 6am flight to Nice from Gatwick, and 12.02 train to Marseille. Staying in some hotel before heading back to Nice the following morning. Cheeky afternoon in Nice before the late flight home. Can't wait for this one!
If you don't mind me asking where do you see that train? I see one at 11.32 or 13.32

“Côte d'Azur is famous for its rosé wines, sunshine and glamour.”

Brighton Boys, we are here!
The difference between Marseille and almost all of the rest of the Côte d’Azur is like the difference between night and day . Whilst there is sunshine there’s not much glamour in Marseille, in fact there’s several areas of the city that even the French police don’t bother going into because of the level of violence.

How much time have you spent in Marseille?

Okay. No glamour but there’s sunshine. What about rosé? Will there be rosé?

No superyachts in sight just these ghastly small boats. Won't someone think of the glamorous billionaires?

Just recalling my last visit there - the area around Plagues du Prado was nicer, out of the harbour and a lot more chilled. Especially in good weather.

We even met some ‘friendly’ Russians that left us a nice calling card with ‘88’ on it

Got the tickets here mate. On the 12.02 from Nice and then in the morning on the 10.20 from Marseille...
Ahhh I have some slightly bad news for you

Nice ville is a bit of a pain in the butt to get from the airport. There is a station next to the airport nice saint-augustien which is about 15 min walk from the terminal which also has direct trains to Marseille, there is a train at 11.08 from that station.

Ta. That's fine. On the 11:00 flight out of nice friday morning so going to be a rather troublingly early train out of Marseille. Still, Nice is lovely so looking forward the 1.5 days there
Look at flixbus as well very cheap and quicker than train. WiFi and Aircon.

Several questions re match/travel:

1. Presume clubs/police will be trying to keep it as safe as poss by bussing us all in from La Joliette to the away end and same back after, after a 30 minute hold back, as they did Spurs last year?

https://www.tottenhamhotspur.com/ne...Old Port (Vieux,or congregate in large groups.

2.Guessing La Joliette will also be where ticket pick up is?

3. Hoping Albion will allow driving license ID as not keen on taking passport out that day if I can avoid that?
