We mere mortals have no idea what conversations are happening….
The same mantra applies.
It’s football, value for players, flattering that we’re doing well.
We will however rinse them as ever

Mitoma will be, Enciso is and I’ve no reason to think the new signings won’t be, so just not Solly. (Unless I’ve missed something).

Not that moot…
You have no idea that Mitoma will be, and nor do you know that the two new wingers will even be in the squad, rather than loaned out.

Agree with ACD but not Minteh - I still think selling Adingra isn’t the worst thing - of all the players (Pedro, Mitoma, Van Hecke, Verbruggen, Ensico, Hinshelwood, Buonanotte etc) - there are worst players we could lose in this window. I’m not going to lose sleep over Adingra. I think people are getting a little chicken licken here. We would not be selling our only fit EPL winger unless we were pretty sure that at least one of the players we just signed could step into that role or we could cover the role with existing players.

Maybe give TB/PB some credit?

Also, we don’t know what changes Hürzeler is making to the squad set up. Until the window is over and I see our first line up, I’ll reserve my panic until later if its warranted.
Based on their performances so far I can't see how anyone would rather keep Buononotte over Adingra

I know us supporters wont ever be in the 'loop' but it would be nice to know if the club agreed to personal talks with the player. If they have and the price is right, he'll go.

If Mitoma is running with the ball in training and is looking likely to play in Japan, so more than likely to play.
Enciso is fit.
Minteh we’ve spent £30m on, so unlikely to be going anywhere.

With regards the others and loans with respect neither do you….

So the original question stands…

Some chance they could get Adingra, no chance they could get Mitoma. Simple.

If Adingra is sold, its because Bloom & co don't think he's going to be good enough to challenge the other wingers.
I didn’t see this good common sense post earlier but very much the point I was making above.

The fact we paid a new club record transfer fee to get Minteh over the line before PSR deadline should tell people something too. He was worth far more than that to Newcastle as an investment player they could keep on the books until he made their first team.

So if we’ve spent £30m on Minteh, you seem to be happy for Adringa for go, but for what, less than Minteh, more? He might not work out as good as Adringa who we already know can score and create in the PL.

If we’re happy to spend £30m on someone unproven, what is the value we’d put on someone proven?

As per my earlier point, I don think Adingra will get much better, and is too weak defensively.

Adingra was not great post Sheff Utd, I think Enciso is better, and I believe Minteh will be as well.

If all the players were fit, I think he starts on the bench.

I think Enciso’s future may well be more central, but new manager maybe new ideas.

De Zerbi must be a poor judge of player in your eyes?

How?
We were running out of numbers or have you forgotten the injury crisis?
In terms signings Igor and Dahoud weren’t great though.

Edit - sorry, re Enciso, yes perhaps, but then Buononotte…..

Well, with March, Enciso and Mitoma coming back from long lay offs, Minteh and Osman never having played outside of farmers’ leagues, and ACD entirely unproven, I’d suggest Adingra is CURRENTLY at the very top of the list.
Cozier-Duberry has higher window of development than Adingra, March, and maybe Minteh & Osman. He is incredible. He could be as good as Saka.

If Mitoma is looking fit in Japan, that might be the trigger for Chelsea to come in for him, and if Adingra has already gone, we'll be left short again!

I don’t see Mitoma going anywhere unless £80m plus.
Even then the damage to the team would be significant.

Although I appreciate others disagree, I don’t see the possible loss of Adingra as significant.

Hopefully.

But he’s 19, not 16. If he were THAT good, and if Arsenal REALLY wanted to keep him, then I can’t believe that he wouldn’t have made any senior appearances at all

The Athletic story which was shared here after ACD’s signing shows Saka was basically the last Arsenal youngster to get meaningful game time at the club. I wouldn’t hold it against ACD.

If the price offered matches the clubs valuation, he'll be sold. That's the model.
Not strictly true as the move has to be good for both the player, the club and timing right. Barber has often said this.
