Apparently an elderly lady was pushed over before the game
Not sure we have much to moan about when loads of Brighton fans were dotted around the Ajax stadiumGlad to see people standing on the wall of the pitch for 90 mins with a megaphone is allowed. Not to mention Marseille fans rocking up in shirts and scarfs in the west stand.
Hope they are still in the ground.
Yeah, I was one, but I didn’t commit the heinous crime of standing on a four foot high wall (won’t someone think of the children)Not sure we have much to moan about when loads of Brighton fans were dotted around the Ajax stadium
The joke would work better if you had him saying, "Nein, I am German — but how do you know my name is Walter?"I once saw a guy carrying one of those at Crawley Athletics Stadium.
I said "are you a pole vaulter"?
He replied 'Nein, I am German and how do you know my name is Vaulter"?
Thanks, dad.The joke would work better if you had him saying, "Nein, I am German — but how do you know my name is Walter?"
Just the Thanks would be fine…Thanks, dad.
Yeah. That was one limp smoke bomb .Particularly good of them to fire up the pyros in support of our goal. Put our little smoke bomb to shame certainly.
Joey Barton, obvs. (*)Apparently an elderly lady was pushed over before the game
I was in a restaurant and asked the waiter “Do you have asparagus?” He said they didn’t have sparrow on the menu and his name wasn’t Gus.I once saw a guy carrying one of those at Crawley Athletics Stadium.

Just looked it up.Seriously? We all thought it said CUBA
I thought the other banner said "DOGGERS" which seemed very strange until someone pointed out it was DODGERS. In my defence, it was a little creased where by the second D. The fact I have an opticians appointment after work today is unrelated.
They left out the NT.Just looked it up.
Commando Ultra 84.
i spent half the match thinking it was CUBA, and the other half wondering what CU84 meant.
That's a bit 'Jammy'!We were near the Dodgers at the VelodromeView attachment 171347
Dodgy apostrophe on the banner? We were near the Dodgers at the VelodromeView attachment 171347
Exactly, in turning a blind eye to points 1 & 2 which helped create one of the best atmospheres and nights in our history, the club have shown it’s badly out of touch with the fans.Havnt the club got answers to provide in 1. how 20ft flag poles made it past security 2. Pyros made it past presumably dogs to detect? In the meantime 109 bottle tops were confiscated.
If they're going to do absolutely nothing about multiple Marseille fans holding lit flame flares, but go after 1 in the home end for a non lit smoke bomb.Exactly, in turning a blind eye to points 1 & 2 which helped create one of the best atmospheres and nights in our history, the club have shown it’s badly out of touch with the fans.
In addition, glorifying Pedro’s celebration (which was a yellow card offence) is out of order. Our young fans will now think that pyros, 20ft flags are the norm and that players should jump into the crowd after each goal.
Maybe it’s time PBOBE considered his position? The vast majority of fans would have taken a loss rather than seen the horrific behaviour of Thursday night.
I DEMAND ANSWERS NOW!
Barbie really can't do much about the Marseille fans beyond asking just what is the purpose of Rex and Rover. If they're going to do absolutely nothing about multiple Marseille fans holding lit flame flares, but go after 1 in the home end for a non lit smoke bomb.
I think that is totally hypocritical and out of touch.
Punish an over exuberant Albion fan on our biggest european night, after we scored winner in last minute......... an unlit matchstick offence, whilst ignoring the bloody great big burning logs at the other end.
I don't condone it, but there's zero lack of proportionality, or fairness. If Barber could read the room, they'd put out a statement reiterating that it isn't acceptable, but understand the circumstances and the occasion/timing and not go all Stasi over it.
Ooh you've done it now. PROBES little helpers will be gunning for you. Simply not allowed. If they're going to do absolutely nothing about multiple Marseille fans holding lit flame flares, but go after 1 in the home end for a non lit smoke bomb.

And there's me thinking the age of satire was dead.Exactly, in turning a blind eye to points 1 & 2 which helped create one of the best atmospheres and nights in our history, the club have shown it’s badly out of touch with the fans.
