Please please please please NO. He's the ultimate journeyman footballer who has managed to con his way into numerous sides for the last 5 years despite being utterly shit since about 2008.

I wouldn't mind him personally, he's an experienced striker with a good footballing brain, he may not bang in 20 a season but we've other strikers too. He's also strong and with his experience and Macca's good eye for goal then maybe it'd be a decent partnership.

Read in the Newcastle Chronicle that Newcastle are likely to offload Leon Best and Peter Lovenkrands in the summer. Cant imagine as squad players their wages are massive and either one would be an asset in the Championship. Any thoughts on these 2 ?
