There was a report in The Sun today, saying that Sturridge has been told he can go out on loan in January, as he needs game time in order to be considered for the World Cup Squad.

That is what prompted my post as I asked about him a couple of days ago. I suspect West Ham will be interested in him.

Does that mean Charlie Austin will be available? He would be an ideal back up./competition for Baldock.
