Wow - less than £30mil… I’ll give it a go:

Sanchez - £25m
Veltman - £5m (think he’s 30?)
Dunk - £8m
Colwill - £20m
Estupinan - £20m
Caicedo - £65m
Groß - £7m
March - £15m
Sarmiento - £10m
Mitoma - £25m
Ferguson - £6m (v hard)
Estupinan I think is nearer to £30m , Mitoma if he keeps up his current form is worth £50m . Ferguson could I stress could be worth £50m this time next year .

Chelsea will want a LOT more than £20 million for Colwill.

He's going to have an outstanding career IMO.

Don’t think so - not made any / many appearances for them - barely any prem apps - look at what that Palace knobber went for - despite Colwill probably being better, there won’t be much in it… all speculation opinions of course…

Where are people pricing Sanchez at £25m from? That would make him the 9th most expensive goalkeeper of all time :lolol:
From a guessing game on an Internet forum… 🤣 Spanish international keeper with prem experience and very young by keeper standards… and prices have rocketed in years gone by so 9th most expensive keeper of all time isn’t that big a deal…what would you price him at out of interest?

It seems I’m in the minority, admittedly I don’t keep an eye on this sort of thing. I’m just amazed that the general consensus for the price of a decent, if error prone, goalkeeper is this high these days.

I don’t think I’d want to pay more than £10m for a mid-level premier league goalkeeper, but again I do appear to be out of touch.

Yes... regarding this question I think you're a bit behind.

There haven't been many big goalie moves in the last two years because nearly every top team in Europe are content with their goalie situations. This is why the top 10 looks very cheap compared to most other positions.

Football went mental and died a little inside as soon as the Russian crook bought Chelski I’m afraid - sad but true.

It's odd as it only appears on here that he is error prone.

He has hardly cost us a game since he has been in the team. Also there's normally only praise for him in the media.

They cost this, give or take...

Sanchez - £0
Veltman - £1m
Dunk - £0
Colwill - loan
Estupinan - £17.8m
Caicedo - £5m
Groß - £3m
March - £0
Sarmiento - £0
Mitoma - £3m
Ferguson - £0

...what would they sell for right now?

Ask Todd Boehly.

Colleague at work is an Everton fan. When we were discussing the match he said he’d read the cost of our team was the same as the transfer fee they paid for Owobi.
He then scuttled off shaking his head, chuckling away to himself.

They might want that - but if they're trying to buy someone from us at the same time, the price for Colwill will be a big bargaining point in our favour. I hope we do manage to land him permanently now.

Some of their fans were already saying he's better than the left sided defenders they've got (this was before today's signing).

Yes but their fans usually watch on tv and base their opinions on not a lot of actual evidence - they were saying Gilmour was their best midfielder etc before… Jist don’t trust their opinions tbh as most don’t go to games!

Not going to start a new thread for something that’s been covered dozens of times so I’ll just drop this here. This just appeared on the BBC daily PL feed. Probably nothing more than guesswork but come on!

This is getting so boring. Thumbs down, gentlemen.

Fairly sure that in the same way Newcastle would have to pay the Ashworth tax, Chelsea would have to pay the Potter/Reid/Bruno/Roberts/Hamberg/Macaualy/Winstanly/naive Yank tax.
