Next you will be wanting Zamora and Knight up front with the ball being kept on the ground...

Chance would be a bloody fine thing.

Who needs Zamora when you have Mark 'I cant pass, shoot or dribble' McCammon. He works his socks of though so hes a brilliant player deserved of 9/10 every game to most people on here.

Nah, sod that, lets just pack the team with grafters, so people can great tackle, even though the ball goes back to the opposition. Creativity and goals, we want none of that muck at the Albion.

But grafters good, talent bad...

The thing I never understand is that people think the likes of McCammon and Virgo are amazing because they chase the ball a lot.

As a pro footballer, no, as a footballer of any kind, surely working as hard as you can and trying your best is a prerequisit of playing?

Every team needs work horses, at the end of the day England look better with Butt doing the donkey work in midfield. What is frustrating is when the team gets packed with them. The one on here recently was people calling for Hart rather than Knight, as Hart battles and Leon is perceived as lazy. However Leon with decent service is going to score more goals than Hart.

Also Leon is not that lazy. He works hard when it is sensible to do so. He does not chase lost causes which means that when there is a ball he can get he is not nackered from chasing balls he had no hope of getting.

Also, I think people do not notice that McGhee obviously tells Knight to drop back and fill in on the right side when the other team have the ball. Every time they get it , he falls back to an almost right midfield position and then gets shouted at for being too lazy to close down centre backs.

He is doing what he is told.

I still think Dirk Lehmann and Phil Stamp never got a fair crack of the whip.

I have no reason to boo him and I do not think he did enough for me to clap him.

If he plays I will hope he has a stinker, but knowing my luck he will have a blinder and score.

Can you remind Leon of your great football wisdom next time you see him!:lolol:

I hope for one that Spuz play him as it will increase our chances of a result.

He had a decent first couple of games then went completely missing in the middle of the park. He was very poor and how he is getting onto a Premiership teams bench is pretty beyond me.

Also lets hope he takes their corners as he didn't beat the first man once whilst he was taking them for us. I think Chippie and the Greek are much better players and you cannot compare to Oatway as his is a different game.

I am glad he is lining up against us and not for us.

Albion & England forever.

Id prefer a midfield five of

Currie Yeates Nicolas Sidwell Brooker

Now that WOULD have led to some goals.

Very creative but lacking in the ability to win the ball on a regular basis and defending as they all like to go forward.

At least there's no problem for the kit man with this lot getting dirty. :lolol:

Yeates and Brooker were just big time charlies or should I keep our esteemed skipper out of this??

Hope Yeates plays as Charlie will give him a leg warmer in the first minute and he won't be interested for the reamining 89.

Admittedly :lolol:

With any luck more might go past the opposition keeper than Kuipers too.
