Has anybody considered Mark Yeates in the equation for saturday, didn't manage to get a goal what is the betting he scores his first spurs goal against us on saturday. He is on the bench tonight as Defoe and Kanoute are both injured.

Rubbish - Charlie and Chippy are not technically perfect but they are better players than Yeates

He held on to the ball too long when he was with us and looked like he was a big time boy - he was ineffective because he was not good enough and showed lack of desire.

I think Charlie has been outstanding this season but a different sort of player to Yeates.

I think you were watching a different player to some of us if you think the park footballer and Chippy were better than Yeates.

Yeates at times seemed to be 2 passes in front of everyone else, meaning he was player what should have been class balls, but our team could not react to it. The issue was a bit like Barrett he became obssessed with trying to score and was taking silly pot shots from anywhere on the pitch.

yeates at brighton was imho a lazy player, I have never seen him play for spurs but hope to on saturday. He was not in the same league as midfield loans like Sidwell.

Charlie is a different sort of player to yeates cause charlie give a sh*t when he puts an albion shirt on

Yeates is class. The problem was he was too good for us and thus looked crap because his passes were not being read.

He was a different sort of player to Sidwell.

Sidwell scored goals which meant the crowd loved him and thought he was brilliant.

Yeates tried to create chances but had nobody reacting to them which meant the crowd thought he was shit.

Imagine the two playing alongside each other. Would have been class.

Nah, sod that, lets just pack the team with grafters, so people can great tackle, even though the ball goes back to the opposition. Creativity and goals, we want none of that muck at the Albion.

Sidwell was playing in far far better side as well so he had players like brooker and rogers to read his passes
