Albion have made MK Dons right winger Mark Wright their first signing of the summer on a Bosman free transfer.

Wright, 27, signed a two-year contract with the Seagulls today after passing a medical.

The Wolverhampton-born player was among manager Russell Slade's top targets and his capture is quite a coup for Albion.

Wright joined MK Dons two years ago after 141 appearances in seven years with Walsall.

He helped both clubs to promotion from League Two and was a regular last season in the MK side which just missed out on promotion from League One, featuring in both victories against Albion.

Wright scored a healthy 18 goals in 66 League appearances for Dons.

Well 18 goals in 66 games is pretty good for a winger I'd say. Not that that's the only important thing of course.
