Does anybody either know personally, or know someone else who knows comedian Mark Williams from the fast show. (suits you sir)

He used to sit behind me and me Grandad in Withers North stand.

The reason I ask, is he is an Albion fan and will likely be able to make contact or pass on contact details of Paul Whitehouse also of the fast show, who played a Plymouth Argyle fan character in a few ad sketches, and would be brilliant to get some small involvement/statement from Paul ("Save Argyle" as the plymouth character etc) to help fansreunited generate publicity.

do you know Albion fan Mark Williams or even Paul?

The seaside.
Mark Williams is a Villa fan (albeit one who doesn't even know when his own team is on the box). Used to drink in the Lord Nelson a lot, don't know if he still does.

Meopham, Kent.

I would therefore suggest he has become more of a Brighton fan than Villa these days, as he would need to have known when we were playing if he was attending games.

Great idea peterward, that pair would certainly add some publicity to the day.

Fair enough its fansreunited after all (even Palace welcome!), but he was in the Albion most home games at Withers for a season sat in the row behind me......... I even recall when our fans were quiet and Swansea fans started singing

"you're supposed to be at home"....... he stood up on his own and belted out

"and you're supposed to be a sheep" much to everyone's amusement.

question is can anyone make contact?

Phone 020 7393 4400. It's Curtis Brown. The talent agency that I believe has Paul Whitehouse on their books. Other wise his agent is Jacquie Drewe same number as above but replace the end '00' with 60.

Good luck. :)

Paul's agent Biscuit? OK, do you think they will tell Paul if there is no money in it? Suppose could always try, will speak to Woodchip first though (hmmm better coming from someone like Mark Williams or a random fan like us? what do you think)

100% go through the agent. He'll have to check it with her anyway as a talent agency manages images as much as anything else. I think they'd appreciate you going through the proper route. Explain the project, explain that it'd only take 3 or 4 hours of his day as a one of and it's for a fantastic cause. It gives them something to tweet about and raises the profile for both parties. If it doesn't work, then try the mate down the pub route.

I sold Mark Williams a zanussi condensing tumble dryer when I worked at Comet (with home delivery). I don't think that makes me a close friend though.

Neither here nor there
I stood near Mark Williams at Priestfield on at least one occasion. If he's now at the Pan it's probably because Patrick Marber has coaxed him along.

He's done bloody well for himself hasn't he getting that part in Harry Potter! Used to live near me at Seven Dials - as others have said regularly drank in the Lord Nelson. Nice man - likes a drink.
