Barnsley only stayed up because of him in my opinion, he went there and turned the whole club around. Why is he leaving? It will make them almost near certainties for relegation next now I would say, they have very little budget and unless they get another good manager there they'll be in trouble.

If Danny Wilson gets that job then he has pulled one hell of a rabbit out of the hat! Hopefully we get to play Barnsley early at Falmer if that does happen, Wilson might not get to see it from a touchline otherwise.

By the seaside in West Somerset
Seems he has been put on twelve months notice (in accordance with his contract) which potentially means that he can't get another job for the next year.

Nasty sort of fall-out with the chairman over funds and squad plans for next season

Just read that they have offered the job to Russell Slade. Although this was in the Daily Star!

If Mark Robins had been playing for us last season we'd have won every game 5-0 - ask Mendoza and El Turi...

Barnsley should consider a good season to be any in which they finish 4th from bottom or higher in the Championship. Learn from Charlton's mistake when they sacked Curbishley.
