McGhee:"We still have one or two others we are pursuing and we're not giving up...We are also not giving up on improving the strikers we already have. I've looked very carefully at the game at Coventry on Saturday and some of our play was excellent."

"As long as we are still trying our upmost to find a player that is going to help us, as we have been, then we cannot do any more than that. Equally, we have got to keep working with the ones we have to improve them to a point where, before the end of the season, we get enough goals and points to stay up."

Come on people, I know its been a hard season, harder to bear than last year, but hey - Its only the beginning of February, we always knew we were punching above our weight, so why can't we do it again. We're only a few point away from safety after all and points for the taking on the horizon, starting this saturday.

Okay we might not win 7 out of 14, but then maybe we won't have to. Shef Wed and Derby don't look very safe and there is normally one team which freefalls towards the end of the season.

McGhee: "We have a fantastic spirit, a wonderful spirit, and anyone suggesting otherwise can come up to training and witness it for themselves,"

Lets get behind the team and the manager and we'll be visiting the stadium of light again next year.

Yeah. It's only football after all. Things could be much worse. Don't know what we are all getting so uptight about. We need to calm down and take stock of everything else that's taking place.

I was going to suggest a free love-in, but most of you are so butt-ugly that I'm not going to bother.

I would expect better from someone of your years - and they say respect your elders, only if its earned.

I know, I'm getting tired and bored of the infighting. I may wander away from NSC for a while until it all calms back down again and gets back to normal. There's no real debate on here, just people shouting opinions and slagging each other off. I can get that on the Army newsgroups with far more creative insults!

See you at the end of the season.
