He's doing a better job than Coppell did.

Better not be Sunderland away - I've booked my flights!

I want the Leeds match, so I can drag my uncle down the pub and hopefully watch his beloved Leeds (he's been a supporter for 30 odd years, unlike most Irish, O'Leary era supporters) get beaten by the Albion.

And let's not forget "Michel Kuipers-a former Dutch Marine".

He is our talisman!:clap2:  :clap2:

McGhee - I really think he may be the best ever. My pal at Millwall did not rate him but I think he's the dog's bollocks.

Micky A is possibly the most popular in recent memory ( I can go back as far as Saward!) but this bloke's got it. Articulate, honest, tactical.

We've been blessed by the best.

I noticed Mark Mcghee said he hoped for Brighton V Wrexham in the Fa Cup.

That would be nice.

Imagine the scenes!

People are on about a regular pre season friendly between the two teams that would be fantastic.

Maybe invite Doncaster Rovers as well and have a three team beach tournament in Brighton every year (with Fat boy slim on the decks!)

Cheers

:clap2: We've been so lucky with some fantastic managers in recent year, and McGhee is carrying that on perfectly! :clap2:

Lucky or good judgement by Dick Knight? ;)

McGhee

Come on!

You missed out on Gritt who kept us in the League, Horton who started the revival and Coppell, who nearly kept us up (from an impossible position) and got us off to a great start last season.

We've been blessed with some good managers since I've been watching. Brady disappointed but had his hands tied. Even the much-maligned Lloyd did OK for us and Melia got us to the Cup Final. Only Wood, Hinshelwood, Bailey, Mullery mark 2 and Case were real duds. That's not a bad percentage over 30 years.

But I have a sneaky suspicion that McGhee could turn out to be best of the lot.

Would that be the Bailey who took us to our highest ever league finish?

Totally agree as McGhee, with almost no resources except a fine youth team, has completely transformed our style of football since he came here whilst enjoying massive success.

I now completely understand why Reading fans were so very pissed off when he walked out on them. Coppell has done a good job there, but if McGhee had stayed I imagine they would be a mid table Premiership force by now and would have been there for some time.

I am astounded at how we are playing now after the hoof ball we played last year.

Mcghee has achieved what Hinshelwood tried to achieve with the youth.

Our youth have terrific potential and are turning into class players.

I must admit I was gutted when he appointed, I'm delighted he's proving me wrong.
I love the fact he's brought on the youngsters - Hammond, El Abd,
Hinshelwood, Harding, Virgo, McPhee, Nicholas - whats the average age of that lot and they're are playing week in against so called top opposition.

Leeds fans up here are satisfiyingly quiet now!! HAHAHA!!

Thanks DK for your insight and getting him in, and thank you more so M.M for comin to us.

Kamara on Sky last night was singing the Brighton praises about the fantastic job he is doing. Stating we have a TOP defence all moving as one!!

This is not just down to the players but our pints of whiskey drinkin manager!

Yes, that's the one. And who also took us to the bottom of the First.

OK, maybe dud was a bit strong but I bet wouldn't make many Albion fans' list of top five managers.
