Got a decent reception which I certainly don't begrudge anyone joining in with.

BUT

Did he REALLY need to bring his staff over to the bench before either team came out so OBVIOUSLY looking for a round of applause? Really? Don't remember a single other manager at Withdean ever doing that - certainly not Mark when he was here.

DEFO fishing for an ovation.

I suppose it's been a good month since the last Mark Mcghee binfest.

Let it drop, for goodness sake - he's been gone 4 years now!

Agreed to a degree and won't get into the ins and outs, pros and cons of his time as manager.

Just thought it was a bit self-congratulatory of him. Lacking a touch of class.

Blimey, the guy can't even walk onto the pitch without some bitter bastard sticking the knife in

Yep.

McGhee peddled out a load of self-congratulatory tripe in The Argus and then strolled across for a nice fished-for ovation.

Utter spoon.
For someone who gets stroppy when people have a pop at a known tosspiece like Leon Knight, you sure do go on and on and on and on and on and on about Mark McGhee. And for what? Daring to bring his staff to the bench early?

Do me a f***ing favour! We finished in our highest position for over a decade under McGhee FFS.

We also won about six homes games in 50 under McGhee...

But this isn't about his record. Just saying I thought it was a bit smug to come out early like that.

Not crime of the century. Just not that classy either.

Enough said. Who really cares whether he came out first or last. He got the reception he deserved after doing a decent job with us, surely that's end of story?

Then again, I suppose we were 10th and in need of re-building when he took over...

Oh wait...

Not got enough attention today? Seeing as you're 1st & 2nd poster; and most thereafter? Not everyone is as bitter and twisted as you seem to be on this subject. Let it go!

I LOVE Mark McGhee and think he did a f***ing excellent job with us. One of our best ever managers imo. I was delighted to hear he got a standing ovation and it restored my faith in the fairness of BHAFC fans.
