The massive in flow of TV revenue is what is distorting the whole think.

Without that the Prem clubs and the yo-yo Championship clubs could not fund the players wages, ground improvements and service their huge debts.

One day the TV money will stop - some giants will fall - and we'll all be back on a more even footing.

I don't think that he has got the issue of 'no dominating team' correct necessarily.

He is assuming that, because no-one can hang on to the top of the table, that the teams are shite. It does not take into consideration that maybe, just maybe, that the quality has improved, and that these clubs have raised their game - and that the top six of the Championship could easily compete with the bottom six of the Premiership.

Derby County aside, recent years has shown that newly-promoted club don't necessarily fall by the wayside in the Premiership. They do compete, and if they do end up going down, it's on the last day of the season.
