Not heard of him before but he has joined Peterborough from Kettering. On a hiding to nothing with the Posh chairman declaring he wants a top 12 finish this year earlier in the week

Their chairman really is clueless.

No disrespect to this Cooper guy but given the choice between Ferguson and him....

What the hell has gone on there. It will come out eventually, we haven't heard the half of it. Cooper for Ferguson? Not even the village idiot would think that was a good swap.

Seems they were intent on hiring a lower league manager after all their approaches for one this week

I can't believe how much of a twat their chairman is. First time I've heard him speak before when he was talking at the press conference saying how he's had over 200 applicants and even one from a current Championship club manager (which I think is total bollocks) - came across as a right smug eejit

Is that Terry Coopers son?

Terry being of 1970's Leeds United fame who later become manager of Bristol City....

I dont really care what happens to Peterborough but I think the Chairman hasn't done badly with his decisions - taking a small club like Posh up into the championship. He might put his foot in it a few times but he aint done bad has he?

Find it hard to believe no-one has heard of him. He has done a great job at several non-league clubs and deserves his chance. Good to see Peterboro not just going for non-league players but also a very promising manager as well. Good luck to him

I agree about deserving a chance but not in The Championship would understand had he been approached by a div 2 or lowly div 1 club.

I would have been very disppointed had we approached him.
