I phoned this morning about something and got the message that the ticket office was shut due to a sudden death.

Not being in the area, I don't get access to local news or the Argus. What happened. It sounds dreadful.

I'm not sure if I ever met her in the Queen's Road shop. I went in there a few times (living out of the area) and did meet an elderly lady who was very nice and helpful, but don't know if it was her.

Whether I met her or not, and even though I can't say anything that hasn't already been said I just felt I had to add my sympathies and sincere wishes to her family, and all who knew her.

May she rest in peace.
