Margate house murders,where do the owner's stand ?

No jokes,please. However as current owner's of the 'house of murder' in Margate. What is the owner's legal position ? If ? As looks likely The Police decide to tear it apart, who puts it back together ? Can it ever be re-sold ?

its a council house i beleive, i'd guess they would be rehoused, not sure what happend to the one in Glouster (Fred West) cant see it selling for much

Be covered by insurance and if police want to take over a building they have the power.

Think it is a mid-terraced house so be interesting if the decision is to raze it.

They demolished Fred West's house after he was convicted, but I don't think that involved new owners.

You would expect that interest in the house and therefore it's price would drop, however there's probably quite a few people who'd like to live in an infamous house and it could even start off a bidding war...

I had previously heard that the family were going to be rehoused but in today's paper it mentioned that, if the house becomes unsaleable due to the police investigations, the family would receive it's full value of £135,000 paid for by the police force. Apparently they are currently being put up in a hotel paid for by the police too.

Don't think that's right. As someone else said, it is a council house and they have been rehoused elsewhere by the council.
