To me this appointment reeks of lack of ambition by Marko Silva

Why? He said on Hull's relegation that managing in the Prem WAS his ambition.

Faced with two viable options he chose Watford over Palace and I'd probably do exactly the same.

It's great that this destabilises the Palace revolution even further and now makes their chances of survival 50/50.

As some have said Silva at Watford makes them less likely to be cannon fodder this season so let's hope we can play them once early on in the season so their mojo isn't up and running yet.
