Wonder whether we’ll ever see Kacper in an Albion shirt. Was much hyped when we bought him for c£8m I believe.
Still young but needs to deliver soon. Think he has two years left on his contract?
When people ask where the Mac/Caicedo/Trossard/Cucurella money go they seem to forget we have spend quite a few £10m (or so) on young players ..

He's not really torn up trees in the lower vestiges of the Eredivisie, over the course of almost two seasons now. Hard to see how he'll make the step up to the PL.

Thursday review part one:-

Jakub Moder came on as a 73rd minute sub for Poland as they beat Estonia 5-1 and now face Wales in Cardiff on Tuesday for a place at EURO 2024.

Mahmoud Dahoud was not involved in the Syria matchday squad as they drew 1-1 with Myanmar in a World Cup qualifier.

Kacper Kozlowski started for the Poland U-21s and played 66 minutes as they came from behind to beat Israel 2-1 in a European Championship qualifier.

Ruairi McConville started and played the whole match for the Northern Ireland U-21s as they lost 3-0 to the Czech Republic in a friendly:-

I'll post part two of today's review when Ecuador and the England U-19s have played.

Thursday review part two:-

Jeremy Sarmiento started for Ecuador in their 2-0 win over Guatemala at the Red Bull Arena and provided an assist for the first goal on 8 minutes. He played 73 minutes in total. Pervis Estupinan was an unused sub.

Joshua Duffus came on as a 72nd-minute sub for the England U-19s and it was from his free-kick in the 80th minute that the Three Lions equalised in a 1-1 draw in Morocco.

On Friday there could be as many as eight Albion players seeing international action (as Verbruggen will probably not be involved):-

Bart Verbruggen is in the Netherlands squad for their home friendly against Scotland but Ronald Koeman has indicated he will play next Tuesday rather than today.

Billy Gilmour will be hoping for some minutes for Scotland in the same match.

Tariq Lamptey is in the Ghana squad who are in neutral Morocco to play a friendly against Nigeria. (Albion player-to-be Ibrahim Osman is also in the squad).

Valentin Barco and Facundo Buonanotte will be hoping for some minutes for World Champions Argentina as they face El Salvador in a friendly at the neutral venue of Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia.

Mark O'Mahony and Andrew Moran are with the Republic of Ireland U-21 squad as they have a European Championship qualifier in San Marino.

Yasin Ayari (and his younger brother) are with the Sweden U-21s as they have an away friendly against Cyprus.

James Beadle is with the England U-20s as they play a European Elite League fixture away in Poland.

It’s a shame Bart will play next Tuesday, was hoping to see him and Gilmour up against each other (if Gilmour plays).

It’s also great to see the likes of Moder and Sarmiento getting some time for their teams after their injuries. Poland v Wales will be good.
