You say ‘usually’ - HKFC said ‘only ever’ - intrigued to know the answer or how sure you both are like 👍

Only article I found was this one which suggests it can be either, but not a clue how reliable.

I said normally (I can’t rule out its ever been deviated from, but would think it’s the norm as no clubs going to accept paying out further when it’s not worked out)

"Usually" is the case, but both happens - at least according to the agents I used to frequently speak with in the past.

Obviously buying clubs only want the sell on to be a percentage of the fee but if you have a diamond on your hands, some clubs will just refuse to sell unless they get a percentage of any fee.

Yeh I thought that was the case. So nobody actually knows re Cucu. Guess it’s based on the deal and negotiator - Tony and us would obviously have tried for overall fee undoubtedly.

His partner had a baby a few days ago, so maybe that's why he didn't play today?
Didn’t they just have one before coming to us - quick progressed in making a family, not so much in career this season.

Chelsea had mega rich new owners who for whatever reason didn't like their existing manager, who had recently delivered the biggest prize in European football.
The sacking of TT did indeed seem bizarre in its timing. HOWEVER. The whisper I heard from a Chelsea-supporting work colleague was that Tuchel was playing "hide the sausage" with some other bint. No big deal professionally you'd think, except he was (apparently) constantly on his phone messaging during training, around the club etc. It got noticed by the top brass and it still didn't end, so....

(His wife of 13 years filed for divorce in April last year citing "irrecocilable differences").

The dull part of the south coast
Funny how things work out. Our player of the season and the likes of Manchester City knocking, throw in a transfer request for big money, end up at Chelsea and its been a complete car crash(apart from Bank balance of course). His "dream move" hasn't been great has it?
The perfect example of ‘the grass isn’t always greener on the other side’ - that goes for Potter too.

I agree that sell on fees are normally on profit, but it would be absolutely hilarious if, after the worst bit of robbery since Dick Turpin, they moved him on and we got a bonus :lolol:

Can’t say I watched any Getafe games myself. But whilst he was hear he seemed quite reserved and soft natured imo…

He's another 'let me at 'im, hold me back' hard man like Robbie Savage was.
Lots of his type in the protected arena of a football stadium always looking to half get involved.
