What a non-story. Who in their right mind wouldn’t want to play for Barcelona, it’s just crap click bait.
He dropped a bollock leaving Brighton so soon, and this will no doubt come back to hau him, but he’s made his bed……..
His £150k a week bed, very nice.

I really don't get the hate here now 4 months after he left. Say you were earning, I don't know, maybe 50k a year designing web pages for your local firm and you hear you could earn 300k doing the exact same job for Google. Drop a few hints to your boss who makes it clear they can't afford to pay you more or break the wage structure where you work. Do you genuinely believe if you then interview for Google and get the job, your work colleagues would start a hate campaign because you wanted to get the most for your family? Leave the guy alone now please.
Ran a campaign to depart through a twitter mouthpiece and handed in a transfer request when bound by a fixed term contract, when he didn’t need to do … TB is fine with any employee moving on and wishes them well. He doesn’t use the jailor tactics of Levy or Parish.

Cucu read the room wrong, he was disrespectful.

Begging the question:

Why doesn't he want to stay at Chelsea?
I'm sure he does want to stay at Chelsea. Like everything media led his comments would have been twisted and/or taken out of context.

After all the lad is Spanish, Barcelona are a massive club, why wouldn't he one day want to go home and play for them?

Absolutely dreadful tonight - glad Carragher has finally noticed. Shame.

£62m though 🤣👍

Should’ve shown some loyalty to the club who gave you your break into the prem and got some more experience rather than jumping at the chance to join the money splashers - karma.

Of all the departures, his is the one I'm most bitter about for the reasons Sheebo mentioned above. Can't say I'm displeased that it's not going swimmingly for him at Chelsea.

Chelsea at it again with Benfica’s Fernandez, who only signed for them 6 months ago and they ain’t impressed, calling it disrespectful. Sound familiar?

I thought he started the game really well tonight but got worse as it went on to the point he was clearly targeted 1 on 1 in the second half before he was hooked.

Its odd how him and Bissouma look shadows of the players they were with us. Then again, Gallagher looked the part for Palace last year and looked totally off it as well.

I thought there'd be some improvement in him in a Chelsea shirt after Potter joined. He'd be the one player in their squad who knew what Potter wanted and was familiar with it, had done well playing that way last season.

The good thing is we don’t miss him.
Or the excellent Ben White and Yves Bissouma - never thought I’d say that!
