City have also been linked with left back David Raum who would allegedly cost them c £35m. So first choice may be Cucurella but they won’t go over £50m for him and so they then take up their chase for Raum. Hopefully that’s the scenario.
Maybe City think that their potential pursuit of a cheaper alternative will make us snatch their hand off for £45-50m for Cucurella. If so, they are wrong.

Mane went for the same money as Biss. Because they had the same length of time left on their contract. Burn is not in the same league as Cucu, Mane, Biss or White.

Cucu still has years left. Makes all the difference.
