Whilst driving home from Watford I was listening to Warren Aspinall on BBC Sussex's 'The Final Whistle'.

A caller asked a question about the club being able to hold on to Bissouma and Potter.

Warren replied that it was a compliment etc that other are looking at our assets.

He then went on to say that also Chelsea have been enquiring about Cucurella.

The comment made me pay attention as Aspinall often seems to have inside information. It's the first time I have heard Cucurella linked with Chelsea.
I don't know if it's been mentioned previously and I've missed it?

We should take it as a compliment.
Up to a couple of seasons ago the only player ever mentioned about a transfer to a PL club was Dunk.

It shows how far we've come that other side's want our players.

This year we've already sold two for over £60million and now have reported interested in Lamptey, Biss, Webster, Cucu and Trossard.

Defensively the best "left back" (if you could say that about someone who is everywhere on the left half of the pitch) in the league. Some room for improvement when it comes to crossing/shooting and his non-existent right foot but overall... enjoy it while it lasts, he'll be gone next summer.

A fantastic signing in the Calderon, Bruno mould. I wonder what they have in common??

Hopefully he’ll get a call up to the National squad. I know he has a cap but that was more by default when the U21s played due to Covid in the first team.

Four or five players were on their knees just after the final whistle. More like a team that had lost not one that had just given a footballing masterclass.

Well you may be right, but that will be 2 years into a 5 year deal so we'll be compensated very handsomely
