I am not a fan of Cucurella, showed the club very little respect. Apparently he's in Spain right now, put in a transfer request after one year into a 5 year contract.

He gave us a (very) good season, put himself in the spotlight and helped us to get our best ever finish.

He has now gone for silly money. Don’t let it affect your judgement of who was a fantastic player for us last season.

We could be getting a very very good deal in return if Colwill comes the other way

BBC reporting they chelski have signed him for £50 million

No mention of the laddie coming the other way though.

Two of our best players from last season gone!

Jordan on the money again as usual this morning (unfortunately)

Sinclair “Not surprised Brighton haven’t matched his ambition and sold (incited cheaply)Bissouma to spurs”

how’s this man in work?

Looks to be Levi Colwill coming the other way.

Anyone know much about him? How good he is?

He was awful in the play-off final last year on loan to Huddersfield but apparently was outstanding for them in other matches.

A genuine left footed CB baller but think ‘Burn’ replacement rather than Cucu cover.

Should turn out better then Marc Guéhi.

Great player, will always rate him.

But very disappointing way he’s left, very mercenary like, but there you are… that’s modern football, we will miss him massively no point pretending otherwise, yes he has no emotional connection to us but he’s shown the club a real disdain

It is what it is. Thanks Marc for helping us have a very good season last season and now we move on and focus on who still plays for the Albion.

So 52.5 with us paying a fee for Colwill I assume? I wonder why not cash + player

Simple. P. ex deals always look like (and probably are) a scam. We have (according to SSN, officially now) sild Cucurella for £52.5M. We may or may not end up buying Colwill - that would be a separate deal.
A P. ex deal would look like £40M plus £12.5M for a £3m £4 or £5M (maybe) rated youngster. That would be heralded as a £52.5M deal - but wouldn't be fooling anyone.
