he key issue here - as far as we can see - is Bloom wants a circa £40m profit in 12 months…. Our owners didn’t get rich by letting small time Spivs like Bloom take them to the cleaners. We won’t pay north of £50m end of and nor should we.

Nice comment by Bluemoon.

What a horrible group of scum they are.
The worst comments I've seen is that we have royalty messed up having a relationship with them where we can have a pic of their young talent on loan. [emoji846]

Don't they know we don't loan players IN.

In fact we are the second coming of Chelsea with the amount of players we have OUT on loan. I think our last loan IN was Ulloa if I'm not mistaken

For balance, there are a few that are knowledgeable about our club, and football in general, and pull the above comments up.

You’ve never met an agent and certainly never met Mr Barber. One of them is more truthful than the other.

In fact the only contact you may have had with Mr Barber is some sort of shocked reply to that truly crazy email you lobbed his way a few years ago!

I've met plenty of agents but nope, not mr Barber. Matters very little as I haven't seen PB comment on this transfer... and if he did, he would probably only be truthful if the club had anything to gain from it. But so far all I've seen from people with alleged inside knowledge of the club is the same information we've heard elsewhere before, just with some rephrasing.

In truth if you haven't got anything to say don't say anything.

Last loan in was Baker Boatley-Boats or whatever his name is and before that Jack Wakely and before that Aaron Mooy.

But yeah generally that is not the way it is done in Brighton and I doubt any of the City youth players would strengthen the team enough to make it worth it... though maybe Josh Wilson-Esbrand can't be entirely ruled out.

It's true.

They got rich by living above oil reserves.

They are a horrible team. Now Putin has sold Chelsea they currently rank as the worst owners of the lot ( Newcastle pending ).

Horrible fan base as well. Entitled souls who also so badly want to be liked more than the more traditional big clubs.

Yes, I read that one too, and laughed - not only did the poster have no clue about BHA, but condescendingly told us we should be grateful for the opportunity to help grow Man City's U23s for them!! I should also add, for balance, that I only know two Man City fans, and they are both long-term fans who are very knowledgeable about footie generally.

Only in Blooms universe is Cucurella worth £50m plus…. He probably wouldn’t have demanded that fee from another club, City quite obviously don’t rate the player at £50m, I can’t see any other club in world football right now offering £50m. So is he worth £50m…. ? To Bloom maybe, but he won’t find anyone to match that valuation - a player is ultimately worth what someone else is prepared to pay and right now NO ONE is paying £50m for Cucurella. We should eave our best offer on the table £40m plus add one and let the agent get to work on getting his client the move he wants. I honestly think if we bid £50m in used fivers tomorrow that show boater Bloom would turn it down and leak all the details to the press. Bloom is high on the attention… he’s a small time crook who’s made it big… but ultimately he’s a South Coast George Reynolds…..

Wow, where to start? Ignoring the libel in that post anyone remember the last time Bloom “leaked”anything at all about the Albion? A less attention seeking owner I am struggling to think of.

:lolol:

You are new here and have never done close season as an Albion fan before. Angst, meltdowns, entitlement, a desperate cry for a LB, a PL ready striker and relief when the window closes are all part of being an Albion fan

I am hoping the LB requirement doesn’t raise it’s head again this season

Beware of fishing trips.......

What a horrible group of scum they are.

I’ve never understood why some fans (and some in the media) feel that the price previously paid for a player, is at all relevant, to their current value.

Perhaps this same City fan would be happy to sell Foden for £20m? They did get him for nothing, after all, so it would be GREEDY to want to turn a bigger profit.

Our little crook :dunky:

What these idiots don't realise is exactly as this this chap posted himself, who will pay Bloom's valuation? Perhaps no one, which is all good as we don't want to sell. He perhaps needs to read what he posts and understand himself.

Bearing in mind that they have just sold Zinchenko for more than 10X what they paid for him, you have a point! That simple arithmetic is, of course, beyond the grasp of the thicker City supporters.
