City must know after the way TB acted on the Ben White transfer that he isn't going to change his mind and Brighton don't need the money. Either pay what is required or eff off.

All our promising players are allowed to go to a bigger club if they come calling. Without exception. They have to pay a reasonable price though, not try and bully Brighton and unsettle the player. City have really rather disgraced themselves this summer.

Don’t think so. We offered Almeria the same as what he went to Benfica for, didn’t we? For Cucurella we simply met the transfer clause, so there was no shenanigans needed.

Benfica came to the party very late, before that we offered £12m they wanted £20m.
