I had heard that Steve Foster was trying to put something together!! Anyone else heard that??

I had, but it was a while back. I also heard that it didn't get anywhere and SF had a fall out with DK - that's why he hasn't been seen at racedays, Withdean and the march etc...

Was this not to do with Steven Purdew wanting to invest £20m but wanted control of the club but DK said No.

Will he say No to all investors who want to protect their investment.

If you are talking about my comment, it could well have been. I didn't know about the Purdew bloke however. Foster was presumably part of his consortium of whatever it is called?

I think the issue was that Foster doesn't think that DK has enough money to get us to Falmer? hmm

If you search on the Argus website you'll find the full details of the Foster bid

DK has always maintained that Purdew wanted complete control and DK said ' no one man can have control' not even for £20m.

It is not plausible that ANYBODY would invest that amount of money and not want control.

Also Fozzie could well be right in his views only time will tell.

I think that Steve Foster was also involved with Kruger, the boyfriend of Alex Best who is doing time for sex offenses. I think that they wanted to redevlope Shoreham Airport or was this the same idea as that with Stephen Purdew. Cue Persues.

the later or perhaps earlier Standard backpage headline read 'The Hand of Cod'

Can't see it in a million years, particularly as there are at least a dozen more obvious clubs for a would-be foreign investor, but it would be hilarious if Maradona got involved.

1) I'd suddenly have to love him and worship his chunky coke-fuelled genius size 5 feet

2) At a stroke we'd become the second most despised club in the country, behind Chelsea.

Jog on!
