I'm pretty sure that that all the good folk wot have the Albion at heart have made themselves known long before now. IMHO you could pretty much draw a line RIGHT HERE, RIGHT NOW and a rough rule of thumb would be that anybody who pops up out of the woodwork between now and the opening match is going to be in it for what they can get out of it.
