I’m not really. Away from home you want pace in behind and Minteh offers that more than anyone else in our squad. It was probably a JP vs Georgino question than a Georgino v Minteh question.
Agree with this. We can’t sacrifice a genuine winger in order to give Georgi a starting role.

I think he is a better No.9 than Pedro so is useful on the bench instead if Welbz gets injured or needs a rest.

Lancashire ref who hasn’t given us much in general, except maybe at Newcastle early this season

Loved the comment from some Paraguayan fans that keeping Gomez on the bench would be like having a Ferrari in the garage and going for a bike ride!

Hoping we might get to see what the hype is about today.
Happens for each new country we get a player from. Percy Tau’s super fans were particularly nuts and belligerent

Imagine what it will be like when they both play
That’s a bit like Hughton trying to get Bruno and Saltor in the same team. For one reason or another, they were always unavailable at the same time.

I hope FH does not get this wretched luck with Georgi and Rutter because we’d be unstoppable if we could only get them both playing at the same time.

McConville on bench again - is this an indication that he might not be going out on loan? No Fergie - injured again? Wonder if we'll see a bit of Gomez in action.
