Steele needs a chance in the PL. He hasn't put a foot wrong in the matches he's played and his distribution is way better than Barts.

You HAVE to be fishing, or have the memory of a goldfish.

Only a matter of days ago Verbruggen made three world class saves to keep us in a match.

If that was Steele, that would have 100% been three conceded goals.

Bart should not have received the ball there either. We don't have the players the pass from the back. at this time. It was failing last season too.
For me it's a number of things. If Fab insists to the players that's how he wants to play 80% of the time then the midfielders MUST get back quicker and show for the ball.
If they don't, then Bart should be under strict instructions from Fab to hoof it.
I know it's not as clear cut as that sometimes, but giving away that pen was shambolic!

I sometimes wonder if Fab doesn't overthink things. We hit United early with that ball over the top. Fab thinks "no way they'll fall for that again". So we... don't do it again.

Sometimes teams really are that stupid. They will fall in the same trap multiple times.
Managers very rarely micro manage like that. Players take decisions on the pitch too.

Yet again, stupid and avoidable mistakes that costs us a goal. Not only the pass, but the attempted headlock to follow. So frustrating.

Overall not a bad performance, a little sloppy but at least it something to build on. Gomez and Georginio on please.

He will give away penalties as long as we keep playing suicide football at the back.
It’s fine playing that way with Caicedo and Mac Allister but Baleba does not have the experience and Ayari lacks the strength and confidence for this type of dangerous play.

This reminds me of Potter’s first season when we had our backsides handed to us by top 6 teams through playing out from the back. He sorted this issue over time, hopefully FH will fix it ASAP!

Dopey dutchman made three saves that were average for a premier league keeper, nothing more. His shot stopping is not in question, his ability to pass accurately to a team mate is

Surely FH can see Bart don’t have a lot of movement in front of him he’s been told to pass out and I see it time and time again from my seat in the North players are to static.

Really poor fare from two teams with 20 league titles, 13 f.a cups, 3 european cups and 22 charity shields between them.

It's disappointing how bang average at best we are. Every game. It's not the results that disappoint me it's the looking like a team that doesn't really know what it's doing, that doesn't look particularly well organised and makes loads of basic mistakes over and over.

Hopefully we'll come out in the second half and look much more like the sum of our parts. To be only the second team to ever win three consecutive away games at Old Trafford wold be a hell of an achievement.

Baleba rarely makes space for himself to receive the first pass... unlike Caicedo or even Gilmour and Gross.... he tends to plod when our keeper is looking for an out ball.
