Reading a Man United forum there's a good amount of respect and even fear of us in this game though most plumping for a draw and just about everyone thinking it'll be close. Their poll:

36% Man Utd 1:1 Brighton
17% Man Utd 2:1 Brighton
13% Man Utd 2:0 Brighton
6% Man Utd 1:0 Brighton
6% Man Utd 1:2 Brighton

United are one of the sides that I don't ever recall us getting any luck against.. Not just the injustice of the 3-2 at the Amex, but ever.. Cup Final, league games in the early '80s.. that MUST change soon right? Don't ever remember getting anything that we didn't really deserve..

Not much to disagree with here and honestly, I fully expect you (and I) to be satisfied with his team selection.

Potter is reaping the rewards of Albion's policy of relatively deep squad depth over un-droppable stars (like the SEGW). The likes of Tross, Mac, Biss were all rested from the starting XI last week for a reason. He has to pick his most attacking side tonight, as this one is a six-pointer - even if that means picking a slightly weaker side against Burnley. Bissouma and Mac Allister are better than Fred and McTominay (and I actually rate McTominay), and defensively I'd say there isn't much between the sides either. Lamptey and Cucurella are a match for Dalot and the excellent Luke Shaw and our centre back pairings are of similar standard. This game could end up being decided by the attacking players. We'll need LPS and Tross to be on their game and to take their chances. Luckily for us, 3 of Man Utd's 4 front players look out of sorts - Rashford is blowing hot and cold, Ronaldo is a stroppy twàt who is proving counterproductive and Bruno Fernandes is playing as badly as he has done since he came to the country. Sancho finally looks like he's found his feet though.

LPS?

Lamptey on the bench. Played 90 mins on Saturday, may not be ready to start tonight.
I think Potter is starting to like having a few of his dynamos available from the bench,.. put pressure on the oppo late on instead of sitting back under pressure.

Looking forward to some of the usual suspects on here getting angry that Lamptey isn’t starting.

I think this is a bad time to play Man United personally. There’s no way can be that shite again with the players they’ve got.
