Had a ticket for the original date but couldn't manage tonight's game around work, so I'm anticipating I'll be missing a glorious 5-0 to the Albion, three screamers for Maupay, and a game that'll go down in legend.

Either that or 0-0.

If we turn up then we’ve got a chance, it will be close. Show up as we did at Spurs and we’ll lose.
Bissouma has the chance to really announce himself to the world tonight. He’s better than Fred or McTominey and I’m not convinced on Pogna either.
I really hope GP goes with a dynamic midfield tonight - Biss, Alzate, MacArgie and Moder, with Trossard and Maupay up top. Lallana completed 90 mins on Saturday so I’d be surprised if he started and I don’t want Pascal starting in this one.

THIS....

We will lose.

But only because a win puts us bang in the mix for a EUROPEAN TOUR place. So obviously that aint happening.

Guarantee Maguire gets away with a stonewall penalty.

The lumbering oaf.

Yep needs 2 players (Maupay & The Tros) around him all game.

Unless...

...GPott does what he did to Newcastle and overload the wings, giving Hazza nobody to mark until Moder/Jocko appear late on the scene.

I'd imagine that would seriously confuse the tosspot.

As others have said, I really suspect we will be targeting Maguire, he is a bit of a lummox

Really looking forward to this one. If we stay in it and don't concede twice in first half an hour, we can get something. BUT, a formation is hard to predict here.. I think we will go 4 at the back, as Utd often like to play with 3 up top.. however, we also know that GP backs our defenders to go 1 v 1, so 3 at the back not out of the question as it definitely provides us with options out wide, and spaces between full-backs and Centre backs for us to exploit.

------------------Sanchez
--------Veltman Dunk Webster
Lamptey Bissouma Lallana Cucurella
----------------MacAllister
------------Maupay Trossard

With the usual decent game time for Moder and Welbeck would be nice

Does anyone have a feeling on what Potter's surprise selection may be tonight?

I'd tell Lamps to run hard and fast at that big, clumsy oaf Maguire into the box at every opportunity.

I'd like to see...
Sanchez
Veltman Dunk Webster
Lamptey Lallana Biss Mac Cucu
Maupay Wellbeck.

With a typically strong bench.
If those players turn up we get a result tonight.

Could easily see Lallana starting instead of Ally Mac, but short turnaround I think makes that unlikely. Alzate equally could be in.. surprised at this lack of game time since his excellent showing vs. Chelsea. Taking the ball from the back 4 in tight areas is an area he can do well with..

Not much to disagree with here and honestly, I fully expect you (and I) to be satisfied with his team selection.

Potter is reaping the rewards of Albion's policy of relatively deep squad depth over un-droppable stars (like the SEGW). The likes of Tross, Mac, Biss were all rested from the starting XI last week for a reason. He has to pick his most attacking side tonight, as this one is a six-pointer - even if that means picking a slightly weaker side against Burnley. Bissouma and Mac Allister are better than Fred and McTominay (and I actually rate McTominay), and defensively I'd say there isn't much between the sides either. Lamptey and Cucurella are a match for Dalot and the excellent Luke Shaw and our centre back pairings are of similar standard. This game could end up being decided by the attacking players. We'll need LPS and Tross to be on their game and to take their chances. Luckily for us, 3 of Man Utd's 4 front players look out of sorts - Rashford is blowing hot and cold, Ronaldo is a stroppy twàt who is proving counterproductive and Bruno Fernandes is playing as badly as he has done since he came to the country. Sancho finally looks like he's found his feet though.

As is the understandable way, a lot of people still can't believe that we are a very good team.
A good chance of 3 away points tonight.

In terms of "team" and "togetherness", we are everything that they are not.

Obviously they have the talent totake us apart, but we are also quite capable of doing them over!
