Mctominay should’ve had 2 yellows. Shaw took down Lamptey when he was about to break whilst on a ****ing yellow and doesn’t get booked. The second goal was pathetic refereeing.

Our players did us proud tonight, it’s a shame 2 minutes of madness ruined the game as United were dreadful even with a man advantage.

Why were we ****ed over? Come on, other way round we'd be livid if that wasn't given a red by VAR

Firstly it wasn't a red because Webser was covering. Secondly the ref didn't give a red he gave a yellow because Webster was covering. Thirdly, even if VAR thought Webster MIGHT NOT have got there it wasn't a clear and obvious error. Then he played more than 6 minutes of added time. Then I'm not even sure it was a foul that he allowed them to take quickly, when he didn't allow us to take a quick free kick earlier.

I actually think the ref did well. Let the game flow and Dunk's tackle was idiotic and my first impression was red. He was cautious but rightly checked after VAR looked at it. Whether or not Webster was getting there is up for debate. I'm not so sure....

I know if it was the other way round I'd be going bananas if that hadn't been given as a red.

The fact that it's up for debate is enough to show its not a clear and obvious error. End of story

How can you say that was a disgraceful red card? You might disagree with it personally but on no level whatsoever was it a disgraceful decision. To me it was a nailed on red card and I think you’ll struggle to find any neutral who thinks it wasn’t a red, I’m still mystified why the ref didn’t give it first time.

We’ve just got to accept it and move on. Apart from that disastrous start to the second half, it was another very good performance.

Well, it's because Webster was in a position to deny a clear goalscoring chance

Very true but it's not a 'Big Six decision' as some are saying; there have been questionable var overturns/decisions every weekend up and down the league

Need to take our chances when we are on top. Thought tonight was similar to Spurs we struggle against the high press and hence make mistakes passing out.
Around a good performance but we need to learn to cut out the sloppy passes and giving the ball away in key areas.
Dunk's dismissal makes selection interesting with no Dan Burn.

Brighton factually.....
Meh, don’t care…

Excellent season, stupid mistakes by individuals and officials, can’t moan.

Well played, one day, one day, we will well and truly piss on their parade and it will hurt, worse than if we had won today….

Only downside was two of the most despicable players scored.

Great performance and I am really proud of this team. You cannot legislate for refereeing decisions and you have to take chances in the last minutes when you are a goal down.

No complaints from me!!

That was not a great performance. It was sloppy. United were there for the taking and we weren't on our game. Individual errors under little pressure weren't punished in the first half, but we carried making them in the second and then they were. Ref was the usual big six homer, bullied into decisions by the famous people, but doing the simple things that we know we can do well would have seen us take at least a point despite him. We didn't. We gifted the points to an inferior team with dangerous individuals, just like the Spurs FA Cup game. We can't win them all, but lets not pretend that we battled bravely against the odds. The odds weren't against us until we shifted them through our own complacency.
