So insults are fine? Great, well sod off then you old bore.

Ignore me. I’ll stop adding to this thread but please drop the ad hominem attacks. If anyone wishes to throw any name calling my way take it to DMs.

You remind me of my kids when they were teenagers - impossible to have a conversation [discussion] without you having the last word.
Prove me wrong, choose NOT to reply to this ....

He is an ardent Irish fan and a Hughton fanboy so looks for reasons to criticise, just a heads up

Hughton has nothing to do with this - its ancient history at this stage and Houghton has another job - you really need to let this crap go.

I have defended Potter on here as much as anyone else - cautioning when there has been too much optimism and too much pessimism.

It is an unfortunate situation that the team is incredibly inconsistent - beating the likes of Leeds, Spurs and Liverpool with terrific performances but at the same time giving away points all over the shop. It doesn't make a blind bit of difference where Man U are in the table or how much they have spent on their squad. Brighton dominated the game for 60 mins, held a 1-0 lead and lost the game. Irrespective of who they are playing against, this team needs to be able to put games to bed - not consistently losing from a winning or drawing position or after dominating the game. There is a soft underbelly and this team is going to be constantly looking over its shoulder until Potter fixes it.

Don't be ridiculous - Man Utd are 2nd in the league because they are good at beating other teams. Losing that match was to be expected, and it's better to have lost it closely - even winning for some time - than to have been thrashed.

We were playing the team in 2nd place in their back yard. We had a stonewall penalty denied which could have meant us regaining the lead and playing against 10 men. Their winner came from a miscued shot by Pogba.

It seems odd for both of you to be disagreeing with JRG yet for all 3 of you to be right.

Not just us though is it. Man U lead the table in picking up points after going behind. Your post needs that context.
