I'm not denying that Manchester is a place in England. I'm saying that they no longer really REPRESENT that place, and even less England.

On a side note, why is Peter Drury such a pain in the arse? Every 2 minutes he's trying to make sweeping poetic statements which don't really ring true, so annoying! eg a minute ago - 'no one's enjoying this any more', 'always going to be one of those evenings where anything could happen' etc.
